Hello from Ohio

Hello!

My husband and I just put our deposit down on a 21NE. We are former vintage Airstream owners and have traveled from coast to coast in that camper with our (now teenage) kids. The Escape is a present for hubby and me, for our 50th birthday next year. We are experienced campers in our AS and looking forward to a BRAND NEW camper (we had a 1969 model, lots of tweaks and mods!)

We currently live in OH but college and hubby's 20+ year military career took us from Boston to FL, MS, TX, CA, NC, & SC. We have camped from Disneyworld in Orlando to Seattle and multiple National Parks in between. Our bucket list trips left to take are to Glacier National Park and Acadia NP.

We are looking forward to meeting other Escape (and other Egg) owners from all parts of North America! We hope to have our camper in time for camping in summer of 2022!

Cheers!

I am sure you will like the smooth lines of the Escape as well. The 21 NE is a fine choice.

Welcome and congrats on your 21NE! With your AS background and all your camping and 'mods' experience, I have a feeling you will feel right at home here and in your new Escape! Oh, and a huge Thank you to your husband's 20+ years of service to our country!! We also have many bucket lists of places and people to see, new and old, like my long time childhood Canadian friend that I haven't seen since 1981! Hope you are able to get your new 'present' sooner than later. Happy Trails, -Bea

Welcome. Thank you for your service. There is a ton of info on this forum. Maybe we will cross paths on the road somewhere.

Great choice ordering the Escape. I live just south of Cincinnati in NKY, we have a handful of Escapes in this area.

Welcome to the Escape world. Envy all of your great travels in the USA; my wife and I hope to eventually cover all 50 states. May I suggest that you add some Canadian destinations to your bucket list, for example, the east coast - PEI crossing the Confederation Bridge which is nearly 13 kilometres long and is the longest bridge in Canada and also the longest bridge in the world that spans ice-covered water, or the beautiful provincial parks in Ontario and Quebec, Nova Scotia Bay of Fundy which has the highest tides in the world and Alberta and British Columbia with the Rocky Mountains and beautiful Okanagan Lake just to name a few spots. Cheers!!
