Hello from Richmond, VA

Hello everyone. I just realized I never posted an intro message. Sorry about that!

FWIW, we're a family of three with an Escape 21C on order. With any luck, it will be delivered in June of this year.

We're long time tent campers, and have been thinking about a travel trailer for years. Like many others, we finally pulled the trigger during the pandemic.

I opted for a fiberglass trailer because I thought it would help minimize the amount of time I needed to spend fixing things that broke, leaked, or otherwise failed. (Famous last words, of course )

Fiberglass does help minimize maintenance, but does not eliminate it. Escape, to me, is a good balance of price to quality while being better than almost all RV’s in that regard.

Welcome

The Escape is the best value in a travel trailer. The pros, they for the best part don't leak and hold their value. No mold or rotten floors like those other trailers I had. The cons, yes, your still tinkering here and there, the appliances are common to all trailers and still can be challenging. The other cons, no recliners or fireplaces, that's ok, too big for me.

When we upgraded from our 2007 Escape 17B, we looked around at other manufactures and my wife says, "you won't be happy with anything unless its another Escape". She was right. We ordered new over the phone, and we are really happy with it. Quality is top notch, not one complaint. I still haven't been to western Canada.

Welcome,
To another "this side of the Mississippi" Escape owner. Way back in 2012 I was one of the first to have an Escape this far east, it is nice to see the ownership spread.

Yeah I was looking for 17b ambassadors in Virginia and I think there was literally one, on the far western edge of the state. Would be nice if there was a little extra incentive if you are in an unrepresented area, especially if you agree to become an ambassador
