Hello from Richmond VA - An Escape Sighing!

Hello, folks!

I have been a lurker for quite some time. No Escape trailer yet - I am in the dreaming/saving/hoping phase. I enjoy reading the forum daily...ok, I'll be honest...I usually check in a couple times a day! Window shopping is so much fun!

I had to stop in at Whole Foods (aka Whole Paycheck), around Noon today to pick up a pie pumpkin. The parking lot was crazier than usual, and I ended up parking in a side lot....which I never use. And what did I find there? An Escape trailer!!! Oh, happy happy joy joy!! (Swoon!!)

I believe it was a 21 as there was no front window. In my excitement, I did not notice if there was a "21" notation. It is being towed by a white Nissan king cab truck with Florida plates. Oh, what a beauty! The owners were in the store, so I walked around the trailer several times, doing a happy dance in the windy, cold rain with a happy grin on my face.

This sighting made my year! There are few Escapes on the East Coast...seeing one in my own backyard - how special! Looking at the Escapes online or by hard copy brochure, do not come close to seeing one in person. Unfortunately, the Escape was gone by the time I got back to my car. So sorry that I missed you...safe travels!

Wishing everyone a safe, Happy Thanksgiving! I am SO thankful that I decided to go to Whole Foods to pick up that pie pumpkin instead of Kroger!! I just can't stop smiling - this happy grin may last for days!

Great timing! And your day will come before you know it, Denise--hopes and dreams are what keep us going (and smiling!)...

Welcome Denise, to our little Escape world, this side of the Mississippi. Too bad you did not come up to Pennsylvania for the http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f1...e-pa-3292.html
we had in September. We had tours on Saturday. I'm about 5 hours from you here in Pa. if you contact Escape Trailers they have a list of owners by zip code that one maybe closer.

Thanks, Jim!

I did see the info about the PA rally, but had a scheduling conflict. There was some talk of the '15 rally possibly being held in Luray, VA. Just a couple hours or so "up the road."

It all depends if the stars lineup with the moon and someone steps up to bat.

And there's a 5.0 classic near Scottsville, it was the second Escape we ever saw and we ended up buying a used 5.0.

You can have any Escape trailer you like, any time you like.

There are only 2 variables:
1) How much will it cost
2) How long will it take

I've had my 2014 19 for 5 months now and am currently loving it in a wonderful CA campsite. You'll find the ONE Escape for you and when you do, you won't want to go home. ("Just one more day at this great campsite", "The rally is almost here!") Good times will be here for you soon.

No, but we did experience -2 degrees in Texas for 2 days. All went well with the trailer even though stick trailers were freezing all around us.

April? We will be out southwest somewhere. However, maybe in Florida we can connect if you plan to stay there for the winter.
