Followup: Thanks for all the thoughtful comments in this thread. The good thing about ETI's long wait time is that it allows for lots of consideration before the buildout. I especially appreciate the ambassador tours provided by dfandrews (Andrew and Theresa) and hrewer (Howard and Kim). Both couples provided great tours of their 17 ft Escapes, and both have done a great job of personalizing them for function and style. After reading comments here and seeing the two models, we've decided on the 17B with a bathroom. One thing I had not taken into consideration is that with a gray tank, I would still need to go to the dump station. I was also concerned about the size of the dinette in the 17B, as it seemed quite small in photos. Having now stepped inside a 17B, the dinette seems fine for my wife and I. We try to spend most of out time outside anyways. And lastly, many of you chimed in to say the 4Runner is fine for pulling a 17B. We have now changed our order to a 17B and can't wait to have it built. On the list for September 2022. This is really a great forum. Thanks again.
