Hello introduction
Hello,
Signed on to a few RVLIFE sites to do research for our first trailer. So much information exploring already it's giving me a headache. Going to take it a bit slower now. Learning a lot I didn't know. All good from other's experience.
Regards, John

Welcome to the forum John. The first trailer is fairly tough to decide on, or at least get right. Got to decide on what you want to be able to do, then what size RV will allow you to do it. You can then decide on a price range as it may include a tow vehicle, then look at the different types of RV of which none will fit the bill exactly.
Have you camped before?

Hi Bob, thanks.
We've tent camped for 30+ years. For that long, I've owned and towed several different trailers loaded with motorcycles so I'm not unfamiliar with towing. We currently have two late model F-150's with 5.0L motor, but one may get traded in the next year. We want to have a dual axle and 19-21ft. If I could find used, I'd probably jump on it

If you are new to watching the for sale ads here, you have to jump fast to get a used trailer. Have you seen the 21 and or 19? if not, ETI can provide contacts in your area, more or less, that are willing to show their trailers.

If you're planing on keeping a pickup truck, and don't have a shell on it, you might want to consider the Escape 5.0.

Oh boy, no caps, just folding tonneau covers. Now I'm looking at Escape 5.0's
They look good with a short bed crew cab truck.
