Kitchen utensil drawers have a tenancy to overflow, no matter where, or how big they are.

I guess I'm a minimalist to some extent. for a long while the only measuring spoon i carried was a teaspoon size; i figured i could do all the others from that one. when i moved from Aframe to escape i splurged on a whole set.

One of the AFrame gurus suggests at the end of the season taking everything out and putting one of those sticky dots on it. when you use it, take off the dot. next year at end of season everything with a dot gets removed. (of course things like first aid, fire extinguisher, etc stay) i have to say when I sold my tiny frame i was amazed at the stuff in the benches i took out that I had never used in 7 years.

Ahh multi coffee apparatus, we would get along. I’ve added a small burr grinder to my kit.

I actually got her to whittle that down to a useful set, and put the rest in a heavy paper shopping bag in the truck to be brought back home and disposed of later.. Finding 6 different cheese graters in there was what really threw me for a loop.

What? A Swede who does not like coffee. We used to camp in SW Iowa at Viking Lake State Park. To get there we went through the little town of Stanton Iowa. They had a predominantly Swedish population with two water towers one painted like a Swedish coffee pot the other like a Swedish coffee cup. Stanton was called “ The Little White City” because every house was painted white ( yet in about 1972). In addition it had a railroad depot painted white too. I had a fine maintenance man work for me when I was in Council Bluffs. who grew up on a farm nearby. Don’t know about now. It was also the home of Virginia Christine who was the actress who played Mrs.Olsen for Folgers Commercials. Great little town to be from. Lots of good antique stores in the SWIowa region. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanton,_Iowa

I blame my parents for my coffee tastes... They were buying whole beans from a local roaster, grinding them daily, and making hand pour drip in a white ceramic Melitta port when I was a kid in the 1960s in San Francisco.... I grew up thinking thats what coffee was, and man was I surprised at how awful so much of what passes as coffee is.

I enjoy roasting my own beans while drinking beer sitting on the back patio. Its pretty time consuming so I save it for watching a ballgame or something g.

The only time I drink coffee is with my grandma's Swedish coffee bread - for dunking.

Wow, I listed the Lite House on Facebook Marketplace at 2 o'clock, got a buyer within minutes, they drove 3+ hours up from IA and just drove away with it. This is a good time to sell an RV folks. Never even got a chance to list it on fiberglassRV.com like I planned.

I remember grampa Otto clamping a sugar cube in his teeth and sipping his coffee through the cube.
