After spending time coveting them from afar, we finally joined the escape community.
In the spring you almost need a ouijji board to secure one as units are snapped up in minutes after being posted. I've grown to respect the owner's word as they hold units based on a phone call and don't promote bidding wars to wring out more dollars from the sale. You often hear "somebody's coming this weekend to look at it. I can take your name but..." This speaks to the character of the community.
Our 13 is a 2011 demo with some options like solar, window over sink, extra storage, three burner stove etc. The previous owners from Calgary did not use it much, bless their souls, and kept it well maintained. We feel fortunate to have this escape and thank David for delivering it to the farm.
We live in the north okanagan and are looking to get out in it this spring.
Maybe we'll see you sometime in this valley or in the kootenays.

Up here when we say "First round on you", means that that person buys everyone a drink. Right below was a pile of cash. Lotsa money to buy drinks............ Must be a regional thing.
Does nobody else use the "round" referring to a "round of drinks".
Man, it sucks when I have to explain a funny thing.
