New to rv ing. 5.0 purchased in August. I am having a few problems maybe someone can help? First I purchased a generator and no power into trailer. I checked the power cord to the trailer, works fine plug it into generator nothing. Plugged different appliances into generator all work fine any ideas.
On propane the refrigerator fires up great but after a few hours I get beeping and a code of no gas flow.
But the trailer is great for me and my wife have set it up many times already and tows great. Just a few bugs to work.
Hi to all and thanks, JEFFRY

Jeffry: Welcome. Do you have the built in EMS (Escape "surge protector" option)? If you do are you getting an open ground code E2 on the EMS display? Generators with a floating neutral will cause this error and keep power from the trailer. You either need to put the EMS in bypass or make/buy a neutral bonding plug that is plugged into one of the unused generator outlets.

I was getting the e2 code but it was flipping around to different codes. I switched it to bypass and within a few seconds the was a load pop and the EMS went dark. Might have to take it to a service center. I do value your help. JEFFRY

I plugged it back into shore power and the ems came back on. Will buy the receptacle you suggested. Again thanks JEFFRY

The purpose of an EMS or surge protector is to protect the rig against unknown power quality. I've got no problem putting it into bypass when it's my own generator as the source.
