Just ordered a 19!

Hi!

I am new to trailers and we just put our deposit down for a 19 due December.

I love to travel and I homeschool my 10 yr old, so we love going on adventures and seeing the world first hand! My husband is a crazy workaholic and will join us occasionally.

We are trying to set up our trailer for longer trips, not just weekend camping!

I have been reading these forums trying to get ideas for my build sheet, so thank you for all the threads!

If you have suggestions can you please comment?

Questions : if I don’t add drawers under wardrobe is the wardrobe just really deep?
: what are some creative names that include escape ?
: can you have the 19 not added to decals?
: what other build sheet items do you think I’m missing?
: what color is stock belly band?
: is it possible for them to rotate the stove for more counter space?

I currently have on my build sheet:

6cu fridge (7 was not an option due to shortage)
Microwave under stove (is it possible to rotate stove for more counter space)
Foot flush toilet
Toilet shut off
Passenger exterior shower
Dual batteries
2 solar panels
Pre wire for damp
Inverter
Surge protector
LED awning lights
AC
Keyless door lock
Wireless camera
Window In bathroom
Window in kitchen
Power tongue jack
Cabinet door at end of bench
Storage box with LED light added above
Captains lights
Drawer under wardrobe
Starter kit
X chock upgrade
Cover
Water filter
Wireless temp for fridge

Congratulations. Our Escape 19 is our 7th trailer. Our last was an Escape 17B, had it for 4 years, just needed a little more

One thing I see missing on your build sheet, the outdoor shower. We have never showered outdoors, but was invaluable for washing feet, the dog, the kids, and if we have a large get together, we set up a table and do the dishes outside.

Thanks! It is on the list. I saw a video where someone used it to do dishes and I was sold!

Welcome to the 19 Club! To answer a couple of your questions, the stock color of the belly band is black. I believe at one time they may have offered white but I think it discolored. You can get the Escape without any of the graphic components that you'd like. We left off the words on the front window covering and also left off the side swooshes. But they'll leave off anything you'd like. I'm not sure if they'll rotate the stove -- wish I had thought of that, to give a little more counter space. Looks like you've got lots of good items on your build sheet!

Welcome and Congrats on your new 19! How exciting. Sounds like a great adventure with your 10 yr old and looks like a great list! The only thing I can think of is maybe a 2nd sewer hose holder? We ordered 2. One is for the sewer tube but the 2nd is for extra storage. My husband uses our 2nd tube for storing his telescoping pole for the Wifi/Cell phone booster but others use it for fishing poles and such. Happy NorCal trails! -Bea

I upgraded to X-chocks too. What I did not realize is that means they do not give you regular chocks. I went out and purchased some really nice hard rubber chocks so I always have two chocks on each side.

I love the X-chocks but I want good old fashioned chocks too. So you might consider getting a set too. I use them all together all the time.

I would get the Springfield pedestal for the table. Sounds like you might be making it into a bed a lot for your 10 year old. The two poles will be a pain plus wobbly, I've had them in other RV's

Do you have a picture of the side of your trailer?
