Just pulled the trigger

Talked to Kim today, and committed to a new Escape 19'. It is going to be hard waiting until next September to pick it up. Now to sort through all those options.

Golly, an 11 month wait, that has to be a record……any betting persons want to set up odds on them getting it earlier once they sell their sob?

They'll do just fine. We saw your 19 in mid April, 2 weeks later had the tow vehicle and 10 days later put our deposit down! The completion date is 1/2/14, and will pick up in early May. The best things in life take time!

Neal, Welcome. We pick ours up on Nov 25 and are watching as it is built. You will find yours will be here sooner than you think. Congratulations on your decision. Looking at all the options is a lot of fun. I also got the 19' and am very pleased with what we asked for.

I think I will be making that same plunge in the next week or two, just verifying the funds and figuring a few things out. Congrats.

Your wait is a bit longer than our 7 month wait was. Keep busy investigating your options and the time will go faster. Congratulations.

Long wait, but had to make a decision or it would be 2015 before we'd get one... Last time I looked I thought there were slots in July.... Then when I looked again.... Same September deadline as ours then... ours is 3rd September. Long wait, but plenty (too much?) time for discussions about the modifications that are the best value for our usage..

Going to be a great year!

Cheerio

I agree with Dave and the other posters ... the time will fly by. We put our deposit down in August for a January delivery. It seemed like we had plenty of time to get our options nailed down and now I find myself emailing Kim and Tammy every day with another question/request. With only two 'plus' months to go, sometimes I feel I need to stop and just "go with the flow". We've made our decisions and we need to STOP. Although, I have to say, now that we're close to or actually in production, I'm getting nervous/anxious.

We most generally don't differentiate between the all molded towables when we talk about SOBs. That's usually reserved for slab-sided stick built trailers (but not the owners!) We may be prejudiced, but we're not rude...

I hope...

Of course not! I hope no one took my comment as rude - It wasn't intended that way.

It is a long wait. Fortunately we've things to keep us distracted. Grandchildren in Montana and Hawaii to visit. A new tandem bicycle to ride as soon as I recover from carpal and cubital tunnel surgeries, and my better half gets her bedroom remodel.
