Late to the party

Hi! We have been looking at escapeforum.com for quite some time. Since we put down a deposit on a 21C about six weeks ago we figured we should formally introduce ourselves. We are Ed and Lynn of Lancaster, VA. Currently we are pulling a 2007 21’ Nash 5th wheel with a 2001 F250 diesel. Having devoured a ton of info on the forums (I find the modifications page especially fascinating) we feel as if we already know a lot of you escapees! Looking at you Iowa Dave and eggscape. Can’t wait until we actually get to meet all of you in the future. Unfortunately we have a loooong wait.

Welcome to the forum! Lot's of knowledge here for sure. I see you have a Nash. I've got an Escape 19. The trailer I had before the E19 was a 2006 Nash 17C. It was such a great unit I decided to keep it as a ranch trailer. Chris

We’ve enjoyed ours. It’s been all the way to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska and Newfoundland (twice).

Hi Ed and Lynn
I was in extreme S.W. Virginia on my way to Columbus Ohio from my daughters wedding on about October 16 a few years ago. I will tell you the fall in the trees was some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I’ll get back down that way again in another year or so. Virginia has some nice country.

Lynn and I went to college in S.W. Virginia many years ago. My sister and many friends live there so we frequently are in the region. You’re right, leaf season can be spectacular.

C’mon. I respectfully disagree and IMO that’s not a true statement. Time seems to drag when you are eagerly anticipating the arrival of anything that you desire, whether it be a vacation, retirement, or an Escape! But truthfully, the wait, though seemingly endless, will be worth it when that day finally arrives.

I’m sure time will go quickly (like the past 60 some years) but I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!
We love your videos and anxiously await your next edition.

Not too long ago I was doing something and a friend said "Time would pass faster if you would do it this way". I told him to take a good look at me and did I look like I wanted time to pass faster.
