Loorking forward to pick up our 19 Escape
I not new to the forum but never introduce ourself.
We do live in Mission BC but spend the majority in our cabin at Gun Lake.
It took us many months looking for a nice trailer . During a visit at ETI someone cancel they order on a 19 so without hesitation we put a deposit on it. Lucky for us the trailer will be ready at the end of October .
Canīt wait to travel.

Claude, Texas has a regular industry catering to "Winter Texans" in RVs. You'll find tons of places, along the gulf coast, and in the Rio Grande Valley, that cater to such folks. It's been said that the population of south and gulf coast Texas grows by 300% during the winter months. Great weather, cheap cost of living, and friendly folks are the reason why. Hard to make a 'bad' choice, although some areas are better than others. Google 'Winter Texan RV' and you'll see there are many websites that discuss it.

Come straight down I-5, which will be your safest route that time of year. Stop along the way then head down to San Simeon, check out Hearst Castle then maybe continue south if need be or go east on CA 58 towards AZ.

Think about the solar panel and the two 6 volt batteries.
To enable you to camp places that have no facilities.
