Needing more info on recalls on 19 ft. 2014

Hi,

We are brand new escape owners as of yesterday. The seller gave us a package that contained parts that need to be installed on our escape Despite good intentions, the previous ordered the parts but never got around to having it done. Not all of the info is in the recall letter.....only the parts. Could I please have some direction regarding how to get reimbursement to the repair person who fixes the problem? Thank you.

The Howell family

While there is lots of information in the forum, I strongly suggest just calling Escape Trailer Industries. Also, there may have been two frame reinforcement programs which apply to this trailer - one to reinforce the front corner joints and one to reinforce the front of the main frame rails - so you should make sure that if both apply then both are or have been done.

Congratulations- another Escape on the Central Coast! Here is the link for the first recall to weld on plates where the A frame joins the frame rails:

Second one deals with potential cracking around stabilizer jacks.
