New E19 Owner in NW Montana

My wife and I had 8 years of fantastic camping adventures in a 16 foot Casita, but we were ready to upgrade to a larger trailer, and chose the E19.

We picked up our new trailer in Chilliwack this past week. Even though we were experienced with trailers, the orientation was very useful, especially for the few components that we didn't have before, like an awning.

We are glad we decided to stay nearby the first night. We stayed at Cottonwood Meadows RV park which is about 5 minutes from the ETI location, and was a fine spot for one night. The water pump failed the first night, but since we were so close, we drove to the factory and had it replaced in under an hour.

We received hours of heavy rain the next couple days, which in our situation was ideal, as we got to test for leaks. As expected, the trailer was watertight. The trailer pulled great with the E2 hitch. We thought it might be overkill compared to the Curt anti sway bar we had on our Casita, but we had gusty winds on the way back and the E2 was fantastic, no sway on the freeway.

Everything else worked as expected on our 2 day drive home. Now on to a large DIY electrical installation. I had the EMS, two solar panels and the lithium ready add-ons from ETI. I'm going to be installing three 230 amp hour lithium batteries and a number of Victron components to finish up the solar-electrical system.

Nice trailer. With 690ah of lithium power on tap, you have some serious off grid potential. Enjoy!

Enjoy you new trailer. The 19 is a great trailer and checks off a lot of boxes.

While you didn't experience any sway with your setup the 19 is very sway resistant and when I've towed without a WDH I've never experienced any problems. I do usually use a WDH hitch, not to prevent sway, but to give that "oneness" feeling that's hard to describe unless you try towing with and without the WDH.

Enjoy
