New Escape kid on the block!

Hi all,
First trailer, first Escape, first post!----I'm a little nervous and very excited as we are picking up our Escape 19 on the 21st of November. Anticipation builds every week that we recieve the photos from Tammy and Reace of the trailer going through the production line. We feel comfortable with the decision to go with an Escape, and all the options built in--in large part, due to this forum, and all of you who so willingly share comments and ideas and experiences about your units. So thankyou-they are great for us newbies to learn from.
I look forward to meeting some of you down the road as we run into eachother. I know our eyes will be on every trailer that's we see on the highways and bi-ways, and if it's an Escape, I might just chase you down so we can compare notes!
A quick question, have many of you had experience towing an Escape mid winter? How was it, and can you offer us any advice or general comments? We will be towing it back to Central Alberta, so conditions could be a little less than optimal.

Good to chat with you all, and hope to hear from some of you.

Ron

I think you'll love the stability that comes with tandem axles. We've been on the road in high wind a couple of times, and our 19 tracked straight and true. Congratulations!

Congrats!! I'm one week behind you and "hoping" the snow holds long enough to get out for several days "sea trials".
Drive carefully back home.

Welcome and congratulations, Although I am totally biased I am sure you will love your trailer, Not sure how much snow you got in Lacomb in the last week but here in St.Albert we got a good dump, so be careful on your return trip and I hope you have somewhere to get it cleaned up when you get home.

Hi Ron;

I tow our Escape 19' with a F150 with a load leveling hitch, and in two season this has handled rough roads, weather and chinook cross winds pretty well... never felt out-of-control... I wouldn't want much less of a towing rig for a winter crossing back to Central Alberta. I often visit in Red Deer, and enter from the south on 40 Ave, there is a big RV / Truck wash south of the waste management centre for cleaning your new unit up... or old units too!

Hi Ron, welcome and congrats. 'tis exciting, eh?

Mark, I see this is your first post too. Congrats go out to you as well. You wouldn't by chance be the Mark Lund the wrote the Alberta Paddling Guide?

You both should go HERE and put yourselves on the Escape Owners Map.
