New From Florida
We have a 2009, 17' EggCamper. It was the only molded fiberglass camper in which my wife's mild case of claustrophobia didn't get the better of her. Even the 19' Escape, with it's center bathroom and kitchen made her feel "boxed in." Two days ago I found out about the proposed 21' Escape and showed her the floor plan, along with the "fact" (?), that it would be even wider than the EggCamper. Much to my surprise, she immediately said "order one, sell the EggCamper!" Then she added, "as long as there aren't solid interior walls that cut into the space." (Evidently, even the openness of the EggCamper didn't completely overcome her claustrophobia.) I told her that we would have to wait and see how "open" the interior of the Escape will be, since it isn't in production yet.
Anyway, I'm here to learn more before putting the EggCamper up for sale. We went to Michigan from Florida to buy the EggCamper without ever seeing one "in person." Now it looks like we might do the same thing to British Columbia for the 21' Escape - as long as the inside looks open and roomy. Fortunately, one of our sons is moving to Portland Oregon next month, so we will be making trips to the Northwest anyway.
