Both my wife and I always wanted a Jeep. Pricing out insurance for our son, the Jeep came up the cheapest on our list of cool teenager vehicles. Bamm, 2003 Jeep TJ Sahara. It's going to be a fun summer.
Should have the 4.0L straight six which is a great engine. Airbags are nice too. Watch the frame though. The TJ's had some problems rotting out. Maybe if you research there are some preventative measures you can take.
That 4.0 motor is great, I just gave back to my daughter, my 92 Cherokee Sport that she had in college and returned to me in 2004. With over 200,000 miles it was still running smoothly. Rust was starting it's toll though.

Sometime life gets in the way of living.......
Our son and his wife and 2 children who are 5 and seven years old just finished a full year of living in an 18 ft Airsteam trailer while he was filming doc. movies. They enjoyed it and mom home schooled them. Success in a small trailer is all about organization and attitude. However, not everyone. would find this achievable.
