Not supposed to talk politics, but don't know how to avoid it when it comes to exporting Escape trailers to the U.S.
Trump wants to re-open NAFTA, he has said. That has caused the Canadian dollar to go down, which is good news for Americans ordering an Escape. On the other hand, he wants to raise tariffs on imports, which would be bad news for Americans ordering an Escape.
A lot of things are on the table.

And those two are the same thing, of course: NAFTA would need to change for there to be any tariff on an Escape entering the U.S.
Currency fluctionations are a current issue, but trade deal changes - if any occur - will take a substantial time. I have no idea if NAFTA will really change, or when if it does, but it's probably a little early to lose sleep over it.

Suggesting it would be a good idea for Americans to keep an eye on the exchange rate. Canadian dollar is predicted to fall further.
