New Owner

I just purchased a 2017 Escape 19. I am soo excited to get out camping/rving with it... and exploring new places!

I will be travelling solo with my 2 little chihuahuas, and I look forward to meeting other Escape owners wherever that may be!

My only problem is....it is October, so winter is coming very soon! I will get a wee bit of use in it, before I have to winterize it and store it. Camping season won't come soon enough for me!! I keep thinking ... "go south!" lol I think I will plan to go south with it next winter! Kathy

Welcome to the forum. Hope you get at least a taste of using the trailer before Winter sets in.

Chilhuahuas, perfect dogs for travelling with.

If you pack up now and head to the Nk’Mip Campground in Osoyoos you will have the next few days of great weather. They are open all year long. Hope to see you there next year for the Escape rally.
Welcome

Congratulations Kathy!
You will love your 19! Enjoy!
(Maybe don’t head east to Alberta. It’s winter here already for a few weeks)

or head south... its camping weather nearly all year around in these parts, as long as you dodge the major rain storms.

When my father sold his Scamp 16 the new owners had 5 chihuahuas! It must be cozy in that little camper.

Congratulations on your new to you Escape. Our two dogs love camping with us and when we start to pack our trailer they follow our every move so that we won't forget them!
Great time to go to Nkmip as the fall wines are coming out and the campground isn't to busy.

Interesting side on the pet numbers. I’ve noticed some campgrounds, Escapees rv parks, and HOA associations are starting to put limits on numer of pets allowed. Many have breed restrictions in place already, but it seems the limits on number allowed are recent changes.

hi everyone, we're from Ontario Canada and just placed our order on a 2019 Escape 5.0 ta, we're planning on flying out to the factory in a couple we of weeks to finalize our build sheet, so many decisions await us! We have a March build but will probably not pick up until next summer, i'm ok with that, hopefully the trailer will be well off-gassed by then

Congratulations! And welcome to the world of Escape!
Getting the build sheet ready can be quite something. Going and seeing yourselves is a good choice. Enjoy your trip to the west!
