New owner of a 2006 17c.
Hello,
My wife and I are happy 3rd owners of a new-to-us 2006, 17c. I understand the 'c' indicates a custom bathroom configuration. Our bathroom has a toilet, but no shower or sink, so thus the 'c' in the model number. It was custom painted during the manufacturing, which Escape no longer does.
We're quite excited to get out with it in a few weeks for our first adventure!
First things, will be to weigh it to get a true dry/unloaded weight, and I'm going to convert all the incandescent bulbs to LED.

Pretty sharp, that will fool a few lookers coming from the other way at highway speed. What the ________ is that?
Nice trailer, have fun with it.

Sharp rig. I had no idea that Escape used to factory paint trailers, but then again my history with them only goes back a few years.

Yes, I had no idea they allowed that either! I was told that the original purchaser took it for painting on their own to a body shop once the shell was complete. I have a photo showing it painted with the window cut-outs not yet done.
I think I have one of the few that was ever painted mid-production.

Ah, thanks for the additional details. So Escape allowed the shell to be sent to a paint shop then brought back to finish. Interesting.

Congratulations,
Your trailer shell was painted prior to entering production, once the shell had been mounted on the frame.
Please remember to contact the office advising them you are the new owner of this unit.
This allows us to keep our files current regarding trailer location in the event of a recall.
