New Owners to 2005 17B in WA

My husband and I just bought number 39 used and are so excited to get out and use it this summer! We're towing with an AWD '06 Toyota Sienna using a WDH. We live in Olympia with our 4 cats, 2 dogs and 4 chickens. Only the dogs will be traveling with us
We go to a lot of sighthound events (straight & oval racing & ASFA lure coursing) and the Escape is going to be fantastic for those overnights just a little too far from home as well as longer trips!

We owe huge thanks to Pete & Linda down in Rochester for showing us their Escape and knowing so much about lots of trailer brands! The one we ended up with came up for sale the day we first saw theirs, almost literally as we were leaving their house like it was meant to be.

Welcome to the Club

The 2005 17B is the trailer that got Ellen and I into the Escape way of travelling.

We just took it out for the first time this weekend, and it was fantastic! We were camped on a big field at a dog event, and had three straight days of rain and there was mud everywhere. I more than appreciate the vinyl floors and walls after having to clean up last night when we got home!
Here are a couple photos, there are more in my album:

You poor dogs look miserable with all that rain.
Hope you next trip is drier.

Oh, the dogs didn't really mind the rain itself, but they definitely walked around the huge puddles and tried to avoid stepping in deep mud. It was all worth it to them to get to chase plastic bags on string for 3 days straight though! The human clothing took much longer to dry off than their fur...
They were running on a huge grass field that drained really well, it was the surrounding areas that didn't drain so well!

We've taken the trailer out a bunch more times since, most recently in late December for our anniversary. We went to Ike Kinswa State Park (only an hour from home) and had the entire place to ourselves! It was beautiful, I highly recommend it...

Hi Hillary and Jeff! So nice to meet you and your family ! Did not expect to be picnicking at Voice of America Park and have someone ask "is that your Escape 19?" !! Thank you for introducing yourselves. And we hope your holiday was enjoyable.

I was so glad I found you! You saved me from asking the 6 people we passed on the way out if it was their Escape!
Glad to meet you and maybe we'll see you out and about at a gathering sometime!
