New to 5th wheel, interested in fiberglass Trailer

Hi, i am new to this forum. I am hoping to buy a 5th wheel fiberglass trailer soon. I have a 2017 GMC Canyon 4 cylinder diesel 4 door short bed. Bed length is 5' 2". Payload 1532 lbs. Max towing 7600 lbs. Bed height from floor to top of truck bed about 55 inches. I know this truck can tow a Scamp 19" 5th wheel easily. But can this tow a Escape 5.0 TA ? Anyone here use a midsize truck to tow 5.0TA ?

The specs look fine other then maybe the bed length, let's see if someone has used similar. If no one pipes in, you could call Trademasters in Chilliwack BC and ask them about the length. They have been the goto folks for 5th wheel hitch installs and should be able to tell you if they could do the job.

The 4 cyl looks to be on the small side, you know better then I how it is in the mountains or a good head wind.
