New to RV life!

Hello Everyone! My husband and I are new to RVing, but love to travel and camp. We now have a two year old, and are looking to purchase our first travel trailer. We knew we wanted a fiberglass trailer and quickly got turned on to the Escapes! I’ve been doing lots of web surfing and reading here on this forum.

While we will keep a look out for a pre-owned 17b on the East Coast, we aren’t in a huge rush and would like to customize. I do have some questions however that so far I haven’t found direct answers to.

1. What is the storage like under the full-time front bed on 17b f3? Does anyone have that floorplan? Why is that plan more expensive, and are there any disadvantages to the full-time single bed I may not be aware of? We were hoping to have it as a lounge space/couch during the day, as we’d primarily use the back (larger) dinette when not sleeping.

2. Has anyone this year ordered their Escape without the bathroom sink? Just curious if ETI will still do that.

3. I saw in the latest ETI Q&A that the emergency exit window is now only frameless. We really like the sliders (framed) windows for increased airflow- so hate to think that we’d have one mismatched. Those of you who have a new order going on- what are you doing? Just getting all frameless and paying the upgrade cost?

Thank you! We just booked a 1:1 walkthrough which will certainly help us answer more questions. There a couple ambassadors not too far away, so we hope to see inside one ourselves.

The day we toured 3 different Escapes we went home that evening and sent in our deposit.
