Proud new owners!
After a long-ish search for our Escape...and nearly purchasing 2 other (non-escape 'in a pinch') trailers....we are the very proud owners of a (new to us) 2006 17b!
We've decided to name him Yeti and are looking forward to making many memories in this little guy!
We've loved checking out all of your Escape mods...and are really looking forward copying many of yours, in addition, to putting our own touches on Yeti.
We are beyond thrilled!!!

Great move waiting for the Escape and not having to deal with potential resale issues of another trailer once the right one came along. Best of luck with the trailer. The 17B is a great layout. You are going to love it.

I like your trailer name, probably because I had some Yeti ancestors. They were not too tall, and about as wide as high, shaggy and unkemp and lost in the woods most of the time. You'll no doubt keep your new Yeti clean and tidy but I truly hope you take him way back in the woods. Think Douglas Fir campground on the Mt Baker / Siskiyou National Forest in Wasington.

Maybe it was your great-great grandpa who visited my cabin about twenty-five years ago and left these huge footprints in mud on my front deck? Truly. (I'll have to dig out my picture as proof.)

I'm still getting in trouble for tracking in. So maybe it's genetic. My brother worked out there in the 70s. He came back a believer
and that's saying something.

You'll notice the extension cord through the window where the prior owner used rags to fill up the extra space, so that a space heater could be left on all winter.
