Shopping for my 1st RV

I'm very taken by the 19' model because I can stand up inside, and I like all the wood. I have a slew of questions though:
1. I'll be travelling cross country w/my dog. In your experience; do RV parks charge you extra for having a dog,
2. I use a VPAP machine every time I sleep. If I boondogle from time too time; is there enough power in the deep cycle batterie to power my desktop VPAP overnight?
3. What is the purpose of the battery isolator switch ?
4. Is the dinette a good height to use with a laptop?

1. Don't know about private parks, but state/feds don't charge.

2. Search "CPAP" on the search bar - you'll find a lot of threads on them.

3. Battery isolator switch switch disconnects the battery to prevent slow draining when in storage.

Hi: Rollingstone...
1. Some parks have a "Pet friendly loop". We have stayed in some of those loops and not been bothered cause we don't have a pet.
2. Rather than use the CPAP machine I use a non powered dental device. Boon Docking is easier with the solar panel, and LED lighting options. The battery is always charged up by next day noon.
3. It's hard to get at the batteries in some trailers so the "Kill" switch is easy... some times too easy!!!
4. We have the 5.0TA with optional "U" shaped dinette. The laptop usually sits on the rear bench under the table, when pushed rearward while camping, and in the upper cabinet while towing. Alf

1. For the most part campgrounds do not charge extra for pets, there are however exceptions where they do.

#1 Some do, such as Casini Ranch on the Russian River in California (($2.00/day.), but most don't in my experience.
#4.If you can find one close, just try it out. I had my benches raised in the small dinette so I could see out the window, and it is also comfortable for me to use my laptop.

1. Out of about 10 or 12 camp grounds we stayed in when we went west this year two charged extra for our dog. One was an overpriced private mediocre facility in Buffalo Wyoming and the other was surprisingly a US Forest Service camp in Custer National Forest in South Dakota which is under a private
Management deal. Fee was 2.00.

2. The 150 solar panel with dual 6volt batteries will run the CPAP and all the lights and water pump and completely recharge by about 10:30 AM even on cloudy days.
