Soon to be 5.0 owner
Hope to take delivery mid September. Sold our Casita for something with more room. I’ve been reading on this forum for several years and really like all the incredible modifications made by the members. Thanks for all the useful tips and recommendations.

Welcome to our little corner of The Hundred Acre Wood. Wishing you many lovely adventures in your 5.0. I've spent about 8 months in mine over the last year, & it hasn't gotten old yet!

We too will take delivery of our new 5.0 the last week of September '24. Just sold our Casita yesterday and are in the market for a TV. We have also relied heavily on the information gathered from this forum both for the design of our 5.0 and determination of the TV.
AND, we are Texas neighbors of Luvnlife, just 25 miles away. Hope to meet you on the road someday.

Congratulations soon to be 5.0 owners. Enjoy your excitement at full throttle. Sept. is just around the corner. Took deliver of my Escape 21ne on 9-11-23 last year. Fantastic was the feeling to finally see it and get inside it to check it out.
Had mine delivered to lewisville tx. I still had to drive 500 miles to receive it, but that was better then going all the way to Canada.
Enjoy..... glad your here.
Cheers to ya........ and Happy Trails......... Jack

I drove South Carolina to Chilliwack. Yellowstone, Grand Tetons plus a week of wandering around Washington on the way up and Moab, Monument Valley plus North Rim of the Grand Canyon on the return You don't know what you missed. If I were ever to get another ESCAPE, Chilliwack here I come! I still can't understand why people have them delivered.

Well..... we went to Chilliwack in the dead of winter. In hind sight it was a grand adventure. At the time it wasn't much fun in places. In both pictures below, there is a brand, spanking new 5.0 hanging off the back of the truck.

That weather looks like the night I left Montana Carrying a Lance 835 truck camper with four dogs plus a cat and pulling the biggest U-Haul trailer they had. Passed a bunch of wrecks down around Sheridan Wyoming. Picked up the Escape June 24 and weather couldn't have been nicer. Got a little hot when I got down to Goosenecks State Park in Utah.

There’s lots of reasons to pick up an Escape in Chiliwack, and there are lots of reasons for delivery. Everyone’s needs are different.

Thanks again everyone. We did our last trip in the Casita in April/May. I left really early and drove to Chugwater, Wy. the first day. Stayed at the rest area that night. Furnace kept us nice and warm, it was about 20 degrees outside. We love to visit the Northwestern states. Visited the Escape facility while in Washington and then Redwood, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and drove the 101. Really beautiful country. Stopped by Antelope Canyon and Bryce on the way home. I think we totaled 8000 miles that trip. Looking forward to getting on the road again!
