Took the plunge on a 5.0 TA

Hello. I have a 5.0 TA on order for early May. Just finished the build sheet. It’s me, my teenage son and dog. In the past I’ve owned a Bigfoot and look forward to egg ownership again. Expect a fifth wheel will take a bit of getting used to. Thank you to all the forum contributors for helping inform my build sheet decisions.

Thank you. I’m all signed up for the rally and looking forward to it. It sounds like lots of campsites are already full.

Think you’ll love it, easier to hitch and a pleasure to tow.

Welcome and congrats. We pick our 5.0TA around the same time as you. We are going to shake down in the San Juan Islands and then go to the rally.

Hope to see you all there!

Getting a trailer makes me want to get a dog too!

After owning 5 trailers prior to my Escape, I can say I am only interested owning an Escape or something being pushed around by a Cummins$$$$$.

Congratulations, Years of Enjoyment.

In case you haven’t done this already, the Washington State Ferry reservation page is here:

https://secureapps.wsdot.wa.gov/Ferr...e/default.aspx

One needs reservations for the San Juan’s and / or the Port Townsend / Coopville ferry routes.

I’m looking forward to meeting all us new 5.0 owners at the rally. Regarding the San Juan Islands, Whidbey Island is really lovely. One of my favourite camping areas.
