Congrats

Congratulations on your new 19'. We just picked ours up last week and it is really a great feeling. I was amazed at how easy it tows. I tow with a 2003 Toyota Tundra and it was a real easy pull. Haven't camped in it yet, but will be putting a coat of wax on it this week end. I appreciate what your going through on options but I found the forum to be the best place to help me make the decisions that I did and I'm very satisfied with the results. Happy Camping!

Hope to order with a completion during the (reduced cost) winter. Can't wait to join the Escape community.

I placed my order for a 19 a few weeks with a BD in June. I asked Tammy about the previous winter reduction and she said they have not decided yet. Has anyone heard further. It would be nice to save some $

I would find it odd. There's not much incentive for them to do that this year what with being eight months out in their production schedule.

Yeah, normally Escape Trailer Industries offer a $$ incentive so they can keep workers employed and busy through the winter. Don't see that as a problem this year!

I was wondering the same thing about the bath. Did you have it moved? BTW, we're in production about one week behind you, based on the photos we just received from Kim.

Kevin, you may have the first 19' without a bath? What are those cabinets in your pictures where the bath is supposed to be?

Hi: cpaharley2008... I think what you are seeing is the door framing without the skins or hardware. This will keep the opening square. The shell will be squeezed in there and plumbed later. Alf

Last point of contact was from I90 heading East to Sioux Falls, SD and he will head south to I80 to try and skirt the icing roads. I estimate arrival in Illinois late tomorrow or early Monday and here in Pennsylvania, Tuesday hopefully. We are going to get the ice storm tomorrow so he should miss it, hopefully.

Alf, did you see these pic's? Possibly he is getting every wall reinforced and that is how they do that before putting in the bath shell? I thought they would build around the shell? Course as my name says, never in doubt, often wrong.

This is my 1st time going through the build process on my unit. I've provided Escape the Oxygenics RV shower Nozzle for installation. Maybe they 1st have to reinforce behind the shower before they install the shower enclosure? I enjoy all the discussion that the pictures cause.

Does anyone know what lies underneath the furnace, inside the wall. Could not determine from the pics. Pictures of finished trailers seem to show about 12 inches of wall between furnace and floor. I figure something must be inside the wall there.... j

Wheel wells, 2 of them take that space almost from the bed to the bath and similarly on the opposite side underneath the kitchen.

I have taken my propane detector out and looked in that area when I was was looking to put a disconnect switch on the detector. There is a void between the wall and the wheel well. About the same size as the cupboard below the fridge. There is some plumbing, electrical and the drain for the fridge in there also near the wheel well.

Cool, thanks. I was actually wondering if there was a tiny bit of space there to accommodate a Broan 170 electric heater. Based on the photo, perhaps there is... Would have to measure the floor to bottom of stock heater. Need something like 15 inches....
