Erie Insurance
Anyone have any experience with Erie Insurance? Received a quote from them for $148/year with replacement coverage on the trailer, which is reasonable. Looking for feedback on customer service, claims experience, etc. Thanks

Sounds extremely reasonable if it is full replacement insurance. I'm paying $396.00 per year for full replacement on my 2017 21 (Around $35K US). Of course it is difficult to compare insurance costs since they vary greatly by state, even county.

You might want to make sure that that quote is for an Escape Trailer Industries trailer and not a sticky with a similar name. There is a KZ Escape Spree that doesn't have a reputation for quality.

Thanks Jon, Our premium rating should be similar since we are both rural upstate New York. I have to check with them tomorrow to see if they will write just the trailer or if I need to first have the autos insured. If you don't mind me asking, Who do you have as a carrier?

That is one of the reasons I am doing some shopping. Although I have some loyalty to my current carrier (was my employer for 30 years) I have some concerns about their RV product. When I placed insurance on our 17B, underwriting had no idea what an Escape was.

Allstate for the truck & Progressive for the trailer. Will likely change to Progressive for both & the house when my local office opens. I know I could do it on line, but I have both the truck & house with add ons that I'd rather talk to an agent in person.
