When and how do we pay for the trailer?
I am trying not to contact ETI yet again. When are funds required (not the deposit) and how do you pay? Check or wire?

My small town bank doesn’t do international wires, so I just sent a cashier’s check. The bank charges a dollar for those.

There's never any good reason to not contact ETI with a question

I urge you to send an email to your sales contact with this question. It's a very important matter to understand, there are multiple options with varied implications in terms of time, timeliness, delivery options, availability of certain documentation, and transaction fees charged by ETI.
You'll likely get a pre-prepared and thorough reply from the financial office detailing all of the irrefutably correct and current alternatives in writing (I did when I asked this question via email). There's simply no reason whatsoever to "not contact ETI yet again" via email, and every reason to do so, IMO.
Just for your consideration, Have Fun!

Just send a certified check for the full amount via UPS or fedex.

When I ask my configuration specialist, I readily got an email for accounting. They sent me the standard info, far in excess of what I needed, but it’s a simple button push for them to send the generic email. They said cashier”s check was fine, and indeed accounting showed me paid the same day they got the check.
I have contacted them a lot on email and had two phone calls with them. I’m sure I have well over a hundred emails back and forth. My two calls were a video 1 on 1 tour and a call to finalize my build sheet.
So far it’s been a smooth process, but many of hours of research on my part.

When did they want the money and how
When did they want the money? With the build sheet, upon delivery and a certified check may be hard. I wonder if they will take a regular check, they may just need it to clear. I bought my 28K truck a few months ago with a regular check.

My email said payment due a week before shipping. A personal check would take a long time to clear internationally. You’d probably have to pay before your build started if they would even take it.

Would I ask folks on the F150 forum how and where to pay for a new truck, or would I simply ask the people I'm buying it from? How is an Escape any different? Is there a particular reason you're reluctant to contact them?
