Or ... No cost Remote Level app

There is another "no hardware purchase" phone app called Remote Level.

It works with any 2 cell phones using Bluetooth. Cell service or internet is not required; they don't even need to have SIM cards.

I leave an old unused phone plugged in to USB power in the trailer, and wedged where it won't move. It doesn't matter how it's orientated, as the app allows for calibration for what is actually level. You can set both level and hookup positions if you like.

I then run the same app on my current cell to connect via Bluetooth to the Remote Level phone in the trailer. I get a precise and accurate (depending on calibration) display of the Remote Level phone.

Multiple phones can be linked, and calibrations (also multiple) are stored. So any two phones can be used interchangeably or temporarily, as long as both have the app installed.

The only limitation is the Bluetooth range, and that depends on phones and distances. Works fine for me and my Samsungs and Escape 5.0.

So if I have two old cellphones parked at each end of the shelf over the bed of my trailer (i.e., on each side of the trailer) with Bluetooth enabled, and Remote Level installed on them and the tablet in my truck, then the tablet will tell me if my trailer is level from side-to-side? If so, this sounds like a winner.

Just need the one cell phone in the trailer. The Remote Level app shows front/back and left/right on the one display.

If you bother to enter trailer dimensions, it will even show how many inches to raise a wheel or jack.

The only problem is I try to get it better than it needs to be; it's the OCD in me.

Cheers

Evidently an Android only app. There is a "Caravan Remote Level" app for iOS, but it is pretty clunky.

Don’t have the trailer yet, but messed with it in the house. It connected right up and was very responsive and easy to see as I tilted the level. The magnet was solid to hold it on the fridge door.

We've had the LM Pro for four years and still works great. There's no on off switch, it sleeps and wakes based on motion. Change the 2032 battery about once per year.
Makes leveling super quick and easy, especially solo.

My levelmate pro plus is installed, so far so good. I’m leaving June 2 for North Carolina, will see how it works, I especially like the watch app

It works! $1.99 for the Remote Level app + a couple of old Android devices is a bargain for solving this problem. Thank you very much! Now I need to figure out how to mount the old cellphone in the trailer.
