It is getting difficult to find a battery operated non programable thermostat - This one from Hunter will work. The Just Right model is obsolete, but available from eBay. Both only work for heat - You can use a Hutch Mountain Easy Touch thermostat to replace the stock Domestic one that does heat & AC. Be sure to use the menu to select the correct model.

I dumped the horrid mechanical thermostats in both my 19 and 21.
Either of these work really well.

I used one very much like this, https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-TH5.../dp/B000GGPMO2
mine is a honeywell, but the up/down buttons are triangular, but the display and everything else looks the same. its probably an earlier version o the same thing. works great in my Escape. Ah, looks like mine is a RTH5100B.
and here's how its wired,

Yes. It takes a bit of getting used to in that the temperature set method is a bit confusing, but once you have it set up it is great. I rarely use the WiFi capability because I often change my trailer router between AT&T & Verizon modems, but the Bluetooth works well from 20' away from the trailer.

I have bluetooth propane tank monitors, bluetooth battery monitor, and my compressor cooler has bluetooth controls (especially useful because when on DC, it reports the DC voltage, so I can monitor the state of my truck battery thats powering it), but I'm not sure I see much use for remote control of the inside temperature.

What does one have to do to remove power to the original mechanical thermostat prior to taking it out and installing the new thermostat? Is there a fuse that should be removed or just flip the Battery Disconnect switch to be sure?

If your thermostat just controls the furnace, not the AC or heatstrip, its a low voltage control circuit, you don't have to disconnect anything, just connect the new thermostat.

That's the same thermostat I installed and it has worked great. Also installed one in our previous TT and it also performed well.

I just used this one :
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XQLXTGB...roduct_details
or :
Dometic 3316250.700
To replace our old AC/furnace digital thermostat that had some LEDs no longer working........the mounting holes do not match old digital thermostat, unfortunately. Only forewarning would be to take a picture of the inner wiring of the old thermostat before removing it. The wires are a 1:1 mapping.
