New Wheels!
We replaced the stock wheels on our new 19' the day after it was delivered in June.
Does anyone want to replace their old wheels with a new set? I don't want these things setting in my basement forever! Lets make a deal!

I'm sure if you bring them to the rally in Osoyoos you will be going home a little lighter....

Not been to a rally yet. Do folks often bring items to sell unrelated to camping stuff? Such as a chain saw, guitar...etc?

If you have something that is normally too heavy to ship and wish to sell, you can sell it here on the forum and provide delivery if they are also attending the rally. The Niagara and Mississippi Rallies have a blue tarp where you can give away excess camping gear. So either free delivery or free to a new home... your choice, but normally camping related items.

Setting up sort of a 'flea market' at a rally would seem to be a worthwhile project. Set up a table at your spot so folks could buy your stuff to replace the stuff they sold.

There maybe cg rules that prohibit selling on the property, that is why the "free" tarp or delivery, does not seem to ruffle any feathers. so to speak.

Another option to help those trying to acquire or dispose is asking other owners for help. The second time I attended the Niagara Rally I was contacted by a Canadian forum member and asked for a favor. It seems they were trying to purchase a camper item off US Craigs List and it was not too far from me. they asked if I would pick up the item and bring it to the rally. We stopped at the mutually time and place and the seller put the item in my truck. Money had already transpired so all I had to do was bring it up to Niagara Falls, On. It was not until I was crossing the border when the fright hit me, I hope there are not drugs in that box, this was long before the movie "The Mule" was released. Anyway, it was okay and everyone was happy.

That didn't occur to me. Should have because I like the COE and I know they do not allow that.

That's one of the events at Q'site. Only for attendees, not commercial vendors. It's always interesting to see the varied items on offer.

Sell them on Craigslist or Kijiji.
There’s always someone looking for trailer wheels as a replacements or for their utility trailer.

I am interested in a new set of wheels for my 2010 17B, but am sure the shipping to TX would be more than the wheels are worth. Too bad.

Check Discount Tire in Austin. Nice website, you can view lots of different trailer wheels. Then check the internet for price comparison and they have always matched a legitimate price on tires and wheels for me in the past. We bought these....the six spoke version; the one shown is for a big heavy trailer. When you plug in 15" and 5.0 for the width they show $228 for 2. I think after a rebate our were about $100 each.

Thanks, that is very helpful. We have a Discount Tire here also.
Now I just need to find out if 16" or 17" wheels will work.

There are very few rims larger than 15” with a 5 on 4.5” bolt pattern. Here is one I found.

Be careful regarding clearance in the wheel well. I know you have the high lift but remember the wheel isn’t going up and down but swinging in an arc. I believe Dexter has guidance in one of their axle/suspension documents regarding clearance to maintain with Torflex axles.

OK, y'all convinced me. Just ordered 2 new 15" wheels and tires.
It will be good practice at changing a wheel, and give a chance to check the torque tubes.
Thanks for the input.

What I found in Dexter Applications Manual for fender clearance is to maintain 3” over the tires at full load.
