2005 Escape 17B in Maine

We're selling our 2005 17B that we bought new. We love it, but knew we were going to start spending 4 to 6 months traveling each year, so we upgraded to a 19' that we picked up in January. Just arrived home a few weeks ago so are now listing our 17'.

Lots of options, including (build sheet is available on request for full details):
  • Additional windows (front corner and sink)
  • A/C
  • Fantastic Fan w/thermostat
  • Firmer foam in rear bed (we kept this made up as a bed full-time)
  • Shower
  • High-lift axle
  • 4.5 cubic foot fridge
  • Tinted windows
  • Fiesta awning

Our 17B has been well cared for and maintained. It's had some fiberglass repairs over the years for tire blowout damage, table mount placed under bench got jammed in and created bulge in fiberglass (don't put your table mount under the bench!), awning incident, and a couple hairline cracks from snow load. All repairs have been done professionally and are very well done. No leaks at all.

The shade over the rear window is no longer there, so that will have to be replaced. I noticed last fall (our last trip in the 17) that the Fantastic Fan was a bit temperamental... once in a while it wouldn't run.... haven't had a chance to have this looked at. Wheels have some rust. That's everything. Other than that, everything works well and is in great shape.

$14,000 US. Porter, Maine

Allan, a "B" model indicates it has a bathroom - which includes a shower and toilet.

The current 17B does include a "wet" bathroom which is also the indoor shower stall... but the options list includes "Shower". Dolly, does that mean
  • that it also has an outside shower (which I don't see in the photos), or
  • that in 2005 the standard equipment was a bathroom without shower, and you have a wet (with shower) bathroom or "interior shower package" as an option?

There's a reason that the standard Features list still has this "package":
Quote:
Interior Shower Pkg.
(6 Gal DSI H/W tank, 26 gal grey tank, 19 gal black tank, full fiberglass shower insert, sink with hand-held shower unit & holding tank monitor panel)
... it was an option at some point in the past.

Hi Allan,

The shower is inside and there is a toilet. There is not an outside shower.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks!

The inside shower was not standard eqt in a 17B in 2005. We wanted an inside shower, so we did purchase that option. We do not have an outside shower.

I like the older style front rock guard window because it opens. This 2005 model has just that!
