2010 Escape 19 - $19,000 or best offer

We have enjoyed this trailer from the time that we got it, and are selling it because of our relatively narrow driveway... we turn it around in a 22' space, so have purchased a smaller Escape trailer.
Escape trailers are known for their durability and build, and this trailer is no exception.

Features of the trailer:

Interior: Permanent queen-sized bed in the rear (60x80) with storage underneath; 44x80 inch bed in the front. Oak interior, draw-down pleated shades. Door under passenger front bench near the door. Light colored linoleum flooring.

Kitchen: 2 burner cooktop, counter extension off the sink, and a sink cover. Two-burner stove with cover. 5 cubic foot 2-way (110 volt or propane gas) refrigerator works well. Pull-out kitchen drawer by Simply Human was added and we really enjoy it. Microwave oven-ready cabinet, with microwave available as a separate sale if desired.

Water and bath: Wet bath with shower and an Oxygenics shower head. Dri-Dek on the bathroom floor.12 volt on-demand water system.

Tanks: 6 gal. water heater, 20 gal. fresh water, 26 gal. gray water, 14 gal. black water tank. Dual 20 lb. propane tanks with auto changeover. The tank cover can accommodate 20 or 30 lb. tanks.

Electrical: 30 amp power cord. Two 6 volt Trojan 105 batteries – 225 amp hours. LED lighting throughout. GoPower 300 watt Pure Sine Inverter – for computers, phones, small appliances. Victron Battery Monitor with Bluetooth. Two 12-volt outlets – 1 near Television, 1 near dinette. Five 110 v outlets are inside, 1 outside. (A total of 6 USB outlets are loated in three of the 110 v outlets).

Television: This trailer has a cable TV inlet. It includes a18.5” TV on an extendable wall mount with remote, with nearby 110 v and 12 v outlets.

Tail lights: Additional Bargman LED directional/brake lights were added to the back of the trailer for greater visibility.

Heating and cooling: Air conditioner installed by Escape Trailer Ind., 2016. 12,000 BTU furnace, MaxxFan.

Exterior: 12’ CareFree Fiesta awning (extends 7’feet). External hatches at driver front and passenger rear. Windows were sealed with Butyl by previous owner in 2018. roof caulking redone in June 2019. Reflective belly band was added.

Frame and tires: Dual Axles with electric brakes and breakaway switch; repacked the bearings May 2019. We installed new radial load range D tires in 2019 205/75 R15 (Dated 1419). 4000 lb. GVWR. Full-sized spare. Stabilizer jacks. Anti-sway hitch and electric jack included.

We have had no sign of weakness in the frame. Strengthening of the A-frame was completed by Escape Trailer Ind. In 2016 and additional work was done by a certified welder according to ETI instructions.

Safety: Fire extinguisher, new propane & carbon monoxide detector, new smoke detector, exit window at the bed.

Please ask if you would like more information; you may private message me also.

We are located in Pittsburgh, PA

Happy travels,

2010 - 19 Escape - More Pictures

More to show of this well-made trailer.
A further note: We added hooks on the outside of the bath, and numerous IKEA storage bins in the galley and above the bed. A magnetic knife rack has securely held knives and scissors (and a cork screw) in place in the galley when travelling.

We added two drawers to the bottom of the closet.

All modifications are easily removable if desired.

Ughh, after a year of waiting for a 19 to become available for sale at this price point we ordered a brand new one last week. The US$$$ didn’t work in our favor on most US sales.

Our Escape 17B was an awesome trailer, but we wanted the permanent bed. I would have come with a handful of money. I’m sure it will sell this weekend.

These are the best trailers on the market IMHO.

Best of luck with your newly-ordered trailer. Ironically, we sacrificed our deposit at ETI when we found a used 15A instead of going forward with our planned purchase of a new 17A.
Thanks for the well-wishes.

Questions received:

1. Vehicle used to tow? We used a 2016 Toyota Tacoma 3.5L, then a 5.7L Tundra. The Tacoma handled well 95+% of the time, but revved high in the mountains or up a steep grade. No issues with the Tundra.

2. Weight Distrib. kit included? We used a WD hitch with the trailer. The Tacoma needed it because of the light tail springs; the Tundra is take-it-or leave it because of increased capacity. We have not offered the WD for sale, but are willing to negotiate a price for it.

3. Existing damages to body or Rust or road rash ?? No body damage on the trailer. The frame has no surface rust, and has been recently repainted. No rust-through or weak spots to our knowledge. There is one spot of hairline stress cracks to the gelcoat. We have observed no weakness of the fiberglass body.

4. Mildew or water Damage ?? None inside the trailer. The plastic outdoor door catch is susceptible to dirt/discoloration. Gelcoat is all in good condition.

5. Condition of all appliances, accessories? The refrigerator, furnace, MaxxFan, water pump, air conditioning and awning all work fine. We have never used the water heater - it does not fit our style of camping, we boil water for coffee, etc. The water heater is in the good condition that it was when we purchased the trailer.

6. Clear title? We have clear title.

7. Absolute best price requested !!! We believe that the price is very fair for the age of the trailer and its' condition. We will accept offers, but prefer to leave the ads on the market for a longer time before lowering the price.

A question came to us today: "Does it have extra insulation? Did you buy it used in PA?"

We bought it used in Illinois in early 2018, and we have taken it camping year-round. It has single pane windows. I am uncertain if it has extra insulation - I did not see the original build sheet.

It does have reflectix under the vinyl that we can see under the bed and under the vinyl under the front benches. I am uncertain if this indicates extra insulation. We have had no problem heating it with the furnace or a 1500 watt electric heater during the winter.

We are selling it because it is too big for our drive... it has been a nice camper, very pleasant inside. Please let me know if you have other questions,

David Anderson

On my 2014 extra insulation amounted to Reflectix on the lower 1/2 of the shell. Sounds like that's what you have.

Thanks for the well-wishes.
I was so fortunate to find an E21 and was delighted to forfeit about US$375 to have a healthier bank account balance.

Best of luck in your sale.
