What is the total pulling weight, and cannot be pulled by a six cylinder Toyota pick up 4 x 4? is there any problems with it at all? Any axle problems? Thanks

I believe the E19 is rated 5,000 lbs, thus any vehicle that can tow that amount would suffice....

The gen one 19’s are 4000# GWVR but to your point a tow vehicle rated for 5000# capacity is recommended. From experience I wouldn’t want to tow a 19 with anything less.

As rubicon327 mentioned, the gen one's have a lower GWVR than the newer ones.
I pull it with a 2021 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 off road, and it tows comfortably. Our Tacoma trim is rated to 6500 lbs towing capacity and everything feels good and stable. No axle issues, everything is in really good shape. This trailer has been on the west coast for all of its life and covered in the winters.

Dude...if it's your Time2Live....you better get crack-a-lackin and buy one of these. As the old saying goes ..." guess it comes down to a simple choice. Get busy living or get busy dying.”

Looks clean but had some questions.

Smoked in?
Pets?
How many owners?

Thanks!

Questions answered

Smoked in?
A. Nope - no smoke ever of any kind.

Pets?
A. I have had my standard poodle in it for 4 trips. Poodles have hypoallergenic hair that also does not shed at all. (it's amazing, like ZERO shedding) He is also a mature, well behaved adult dog, i.e. no accidents or chewing or anything. There is no evidence of any pets having been in there.

How many owners?
I am the third owner and the second owner I bought it from has had it for most of its life. They took excellent care of it, and I have continued upkeep of all maintenance.

Morning Allan, yup, just starting on my first coffee.

This is a bit unusual, I don't remember an Escape that lasted this long without being sold.

But I guess it also depends on where it's posted. If it's only on the forum things can disappear pretty quick if there's lot's of posts on other topics. Bumping it up once in a while is probably a good thing.

I too am surprised that it hasn't been scooped up yet, based on how much competition there was for it when I bought it! I think being in the middle of winter is the main thing, and that I've priced it a little on the high end for its age (which is due to the excellent condition it's in).

We'll see. I am not going to be totally disappointed if it goes slowly and I get a few more trips out of it

Just an observation. The tires are now six years old and you didn't mention when you replaced the batteries. Replacement of those things would be $1,000+ before the buyer could/would use the trailer....

Tires have a lot of life and show no signs of dry rot beginning (they've been covered quite a bit, but not 100%). Batteries are still working just as well as the day I got them (which is completely functional) and I've maintained them by keeping them inside during cold months and filling them with distilled water. Replacements of these things would be optional for some time yet.

Hello Ron.
I am on my lunch coffee right now.Hot and black, suppose to be good for you according to all those old Norwegians that go skiing in their nineties.Been out with the Fox Terrier, messing around with my 740 Volvo, nothing serious, just regular care. That thing is turning 33 years old this year, like everything else it needs maintenance and service and replacement of certain things to keep running.I guess you could call it "The cost of doing business" but if you like things to last you have to keep up wuth the maintenance.
Same with trailers boats and what have you.Just MHO.
Rnjoy the sunshine.

60 years now since I started working with my dad in the filing station. Everything those days was about maintenance and keeping up with the wear and tear people put on their cars and trucks. Personally, we tried to get every mile we could out of whatever we were running. Cars, outboard motors, lawn mowers, tillers, you name it. Two things we never neglected were brakes/wheel bearings and exhaust systems.
Because, as my dad observed, if the engine quits, you can pull over on the shoulder but no brakes or a leaky exhaust system can get you killed.

I have a 2013 19, & pull it with a 2013 PreRunner Tacoma just fine. Been up & over the Blue Ridge Mts about 8 times in the last year.

I wonder if everyone had assumed it had been purchased, given the time since your original post.

It seems like a steal at your asking price!
