Inverter

Picture of the factory installed inverter to one outlet. The outlet can be switched between shore power or the inverter.

This was installed last May by ETI along with new twin 6V interstate batteries. With the 2 solar panels on the roof, (Total 150W) we are able to cook a dinner in our instapot and have the batteries fully charged by early afternoon the following day.

Your 19 for sale

Hello, we live in Port Townsend. We regret selling our 17 a few years ago. We are interested in your trailer. A few questions:
Has the underside been insulated as well?
Does it happen to have the extra lift on the axles?
Awning brackets and canvas in good shape?
Any known issues or concerns?
Thanks,
Kim

Hi Kim,

No, it does not have the spray foam underneath. It was on my list to add 2” foam as described in this link but I never got around to it. http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8...tion-7046.html
It also does not have the lifts for the axels. I my sister lives on Orcas Island down a long undulating double-track drive and it did fine on that road. I did take it slow of course.
Awning arms, etc are in fine shape. I have been waiting for some good weather to open it up and give the fabric its spring cleaning, but there are no tears or anything like that.

I’m in Santa Monica at the moment on business but will be back Friday if you want to come for a look this weekend. Let me know.

2013 Escape 19' - Price reduced $24,000 USD.

After reading a recent thread on tire life I realized that although there are less than 30,000 miles on the tires and they still look great, they likely need to be replaced. So knocking off $1000 USD for that purpose.

Price reduced to $22,500

Price reduced to $22,500

The great exchange rate is impacting the secondary market if one lives close ETI as I do. Therefore I am reducing the price again. (I can't complain too much as the exchange rate is favorable for the new 5.0 we just paid for.)

Would one of the moderators adjust the title of the thread for me? Thanks so much!

A couple more picts.

A couple more picts of the outside. She has had a coat or 2 of wax with a power buffer every year I have owned her.

Hi - I/we are seriously looking at Escape trailers and have contacted them for quotes and details. They referred me to the for sale forum. We looked at this very model in Desert Hot Springs (neighbor camper) in February. We currently have a pickup camper on our Tacoma and need something more comfortable for long trips. Us and the two lap dogs! I see by the picture you have a Tacoma as well - how does it fair towing? We also have a 4 Runner so may likely use either. We are in Alberta but I do have an Overland Rally in Plain Washington in June (NWOR). Given our exchange rate and our ridiculous GST tax is there a possibility to negotiate more. If so let me know and I will call you directly. Thanks

Hi, thank you for your interest.

I recently talked about my experience in post # 6 on this thread. Update on E21 experience

Several other Tacoma owners chimed in as well. It was a good discussion.

One thing to note is that my classic 2013 vintage 19' has a GVW that is 1000 lbs lighter than the current new 19'. The new 19' and 21' are close to the same weight so the above discussion is relevant.

Bottom line, the 3rd gen Tacomas, (2016 and later) are fully capable of towing a '19. But your gas milage will suffer when pulling grades since the sweet spot for max torque is 3000 - 4000 RPM. The 4 Runner may do better as they have a different engine but I’m not as familiar with them.

Regarding price, this forum discourages public discussion of price so I have sent you a private message. Regards,

We are in the middle of a transaction. If all goes well I will mark as sold.
