When I ordered my Escape the first week of June, I ordered this brake controller on Amazon because I was driving a leased truck and needed a brake controller that would not require installation or drilling. My C21 was delivered at the end of August and we decided to turn in the leased truck and purchase a new tow vehicle. The new truck has an integrated brake controller, so I don't need the Curt Echo, but I was past my 30 day Amazon return window.
I removed the brake controller from the package when it first arrived, and read the instruction book, but I then inserted everything back into the package when I was done examining it. I also have the original receipt from my Amazon purchase on June 6th, which shows the paid price of $229.
