Dealer claiming to have a 17 Escape for sale

I found the 19' that I wanted so I stopped pursuing this one but thought that if someone was in the area it might be a great deal.

They are in the Seattle Area: Roy Robinson Subaru Chevrolet Dealer in Marysville, WA

Hope I put this in the right location and that it is helpful to someone seeking their next trailer!

19 thousand US dollars will almost buy a new 17' Escape.
Interesting wet bath without the sink. I like that!

Strange location for the shower taps -- looks like they're at floor level?!?!

Me too. Having used our since about once or twice is all since new, kinda makes in useless for the way we do things.

They just emailed me again (I guess thinking I was still interested) to tell me it is sold.

Here it is in 2008. It appears all the options available are listed, with charge if they apply. I guess bill of sale doesn't look like that these days.
Base price was $18,900 CAN.
$21,615 with options, before tax.

I bought a 2008 17b in 2010 for just under $18,000. With WDHitch and a few modifications.

Seems to be in reasonably good condition.

At the $18,999 USD price they are asking for it, there is probably some room on the part of the buyer to negotiate a lower price. If they can get close to what they are asking for it, it is another example of how well the Escape trailers hold their value.

The base price of my 2005, 17B was $16,800 but the following options were extra:

Shower Package $1000 ( the 17B came standard with a toilet only)
Tinted windows $200
Additional window at front dinette $150 ( in those days there was only one window at the front).
Fantastic Fan $300
Front rock guards $75
Front stabilizer jacks $100 (only the back were standard)
Upgraded hot water tank (DSI) $175
Fiesta awning $500
Locking water hatch $91
Battery!!!! $120

As you can see the trailer was a lot cheaper in those days but many of the standard features of today's trailer were options then making today's trailer a great deal.

The bathroom shower was smaller than today's 17B, it didn't have a sink and the taps were basically on the floor. The black tank was only 8 gallons and the grey tank 14 gallons.

The wait for a new trailer was a wee bit shorter than today. The trailer was ordered on Aug 23rd 2005 and picked up 2 weeks later on Sept 7th 2005

Just wanted to see how much a dealer would ask as compare to how much it went for originally. Granted a dealer would "ask" more then most of us, expecting to drop it some.

It may be sold, but it's still listed: 2006 Escape C TRAVEL TRAILER
Was there a 17C floorplan, or are they just confused?

That's the 91st Escape built, back when there was only one size. The VIN confirms that it is a 2006.
