Escape 5.0 and '01 Tundra $28,200 for both

Our '07 Escape 5.0 and '01 Tundra are looking for a new family to call home. We hope to sell the truck and 5th wheel as a set with an asking price of $28,200. The truck and trailer will be ready to tow and go in early April when we return from our winter holiday in Desert Hot Springs. Our US phone number is 267 746 6419 and our CN number is 250 734 2720. I can also be reached by e-mail at ianwaymark@me.com.

I will be sending a more complete description as I learn to use this forum page.

If you read this post and can tell me how to add a photograph I will re-post with photo

Thank you

Ian

Welcome Ian,
So sorry that your first post will be your last unless you are getting another Escape. You can just post again to add more information.

Escape 5.0 and Toyota Tundra

Hi Melanie, the 5.0 is unsold as we have hardly advertised it. I am surprised I have now had three responses.

The 5.0 was built in 2007 and has given us many smiles per mile over the last 11 years. We call her Rubea. is the #1 5.0 built. My wife and I were instrumental in designing her. I was in the factory when she popped out of the mold and helped a bit in her fitting out. Rubea was our second Escape RV, our first being 19' 2004 model.
Rubea is in very good condition with some signs of wear around the galley and the dinette. Because we do a lot of Rv'ing maintaining brakes, lights and tires has been mandatory for me. Tires were replaced in 2018 and brakes were done this year. Rubea will require a new battery this year and that will be done before she is sold.
Our 2001 4 WD Tundra is a perfect match for towing Rubea. We call our Tundra "Tuffy". Tuffy is a LTD model with full leather interior. She has 320,000 K's on the clock and we were prepared to drive her for another five years. Tuffy has been fully maintained by Nanaimo Toyota and was give a a thorough check up last fall. As a result of the check up I installed new "oversize" from brakes, re-coated the chassis to prevent rust, installed LED headlights. Tuffy has had her oil changed every 7000 K's and at oil change time the oil is clean and always up to the mark on the stick.

Tuffie and Rubea's owner will be able to turn the key in our driveway and be ready for camping on the first night.

Safe travels,

Ian, Paddy and Alfie
