We are selling our 19' 2010 Escape trailer located between Dayton and Cincinnati, OH. We purchased the camper two years ago and have loved using it but we are starting a go karting hobby and need a trailer to haul the toys around in. The trailer is in great condition has two propane tanks, bathroom with shower and sink, kitchen area with propane stove, refrigerator, storage area above the refrigerator with a plug for a microwave, heater, sliding table that converts to a bed, wired for and includes a solar panel, 4 scissors jacks / stabilizers, and two fans. I could not agree more. We missed out on a great deal on a 2013 17B in the next state over because I hesitated oh so slightly. I still kick myself.

2- 12 volt outlets
Inside cabinet door accessing passenger side dinette
Outside hatch accessing driver side dinette

The following was added after:
Quick connect portable 75 watt solar panel with controller
LED lights throughout
Dri-dek on floor of shower
MaxAir Vent on passenger dinette window

The camper does have a water heater.

I agree with Iowa Dave! Last August I missed a 19 out Wisconsin way. I discovered the post and E-mailed the owner of my interest excacly 3 hours after he posted, I was number 3 in line. Number two got it. No worry, now we pick up a new 21 in October.
So as Iowa Dave says. If you get a line on a molded Fiberglass trailer, Make the call, hit the road, stop by the bank on the way, forget the coffee stop, and maybe you'll get it.

I learned the "Art of the Deal" from a lot of old boys a lot smarter than Donald Trump. My Father in Law used to carry a fair wad of cash pinned inside of his shirt pocket. He was a body and fender man and looked for rebuildable wrecks wherever he went. He'd buy one on the spot and though a very low key, unassuming gentleman, he knew two things, money talks and strike while the iron is hot.

Does anyone know of a way to get air conditioning retrofitted in a trailer like this? The manufacturer says that if the roof wasn't reinforced when the unit was built, that it won't hold the weight of a roof unit. Has anyone come up with a workaround for something like this? I'm very interested in this trailer, but need A/C.

Appreciate any input.

If it was one of the earlier models, Escape could add the addition shroud used to gain the support needed. Maybe they could ship it to you so you could have someone closer by do it. Just a couple thoughts.

I thought of the possibility of a smaller side mount unit, but I'm not sure of where you could make something like that fit on the side of the trailer and look like it belonged.

I've also seen in some Casitas where it looks like they're tucking a window-type unit in/under a closet or storage space. Again, though, I'm not familiar enough with the exact layout of an Escape 19 to know if that could work.

As Jim mentioned that is your best bet and it looks pretty good ,and like it is part of the trailer . It is white fiberglass . Pat

Our 2010 17B's roof was reinforced- you can see the difference in the roofline for those that have it. A curve on top of the normal slope. Would be surprising if this 19's rood wasn't reinforced as well. Now days not only are they AC ready, but the wiring is there too so I would check on that aspect as well.

I think 2009 onwards all units had reinforced roof.

It was later than that Bruce, as our '09 did not have the reinforcement. Was the mould maybe changed when they went from the skirt between the tires, to a moulded divider?

It was before the wheel well change which was 2012/2013, my 2012 had the open wheel wells and the 2014 has the wheel divider, both had the reinforced roof.
