Still Looking for an E21 or E19. . .
Back in 2016, when I started looking at molded-fiberglass trailers, I called New England a 'desert'. There just weren't any, at least not for sale. We finally lucked into a 2013 Casita that a couple in New Hampshire had put on Craig's List. I wrote about it in a blog post, "The Molded Fiberglass Obsession."
Well, the landscape for buyers isn't any better now. For Escapes, it may even be worse. We want to do some touring, but need a somewhat larger trailer. I am reluctant to buy a stick-built. I was about to take a chance on a really attractive inTech Sol Horizon, which is built around a welded aluminum cage (no wood), but bailed out when reports of their axles falling off surfaced.
I have now taken the advice of some here and put down a deposit on an Escape 21. We really don't want to wait a year and a half (that's Escape's lead time), but folks said your build time can get moved up, and there are occasional 'Inventory' units available (by a kind of lottery). In the meantime, we can keep looking for a used Escape.
So I'm still here with this redundant post: We're looking for a late-model Escape 21 or 19, ideally within a few hundred miles of eastern Massachusetts, but we'll go anywhere we have to. We can travel, but we prefer not to drive at night, so it can take a few days.
PM me, or email: RepletewRueATYahooDOTcom
PS Will consider Escape 5.0, too, though we'll need to buy a pickup.
PPS Will also consider a Bigfoot 21 (with RB, not FB).

That unit has been on the Pre-Owned list for some time now, unlike the others, so I guess there are other buyers who share some of the same reservations.

Know what you HAVE to have, Keep reading here, & fb group, etc.9Sellers aren't ready going to look back to find your post). I just got one..........but 800 miles away. I'm in NC. The farther away from NW, farther you need to be willing on traveling.

I thought we had one, in western NC actually, which is c. 900 miles away from us. But the seller changed his mind, so we cancelled our trip.
It's hard to travel for days for a sight-unseen purchase, knowing that if something about the trailer turns out unacceptable, you'll come back empty-hitched. I do think an Escape is a better bet than many trailers, as they are solid vehicles and their owners conscientious—and honest.
Oh well. We'll keep looking.

UPDATE: We'll be tied up with appointments until mid-April, but if you've got an E21 (either flavor) or E19 coming up for sale, we'll be able to travel after that—not fast, because we prefer not to drive at night, but we can get there, wherever there is.
And if you want to deliver, we'll pay extra! We'll even trade you our Casita (plus some cash)!
Step right up!

We are happily soon to complete the purchase of an Escape 21c. So this thread can be closed!
