21 stinky slinky
I need to get a longer sewer hose for our new 21. On the 17, I used the Blueline sewer hoses which simply pressed on. They worked great, but I am thinking of something more robust for the 21 like the Rhinoflex or Dominator hoses.
In the 17, you couldn't use hoses like the Rhinoflex because they didn't fit in the PVC tube that Escape provided. Does anyone know if the Rhinoflex fits in the current Escape sewer tubes?
Thanks.

I purchased a Rhino for Ten Forward and it fits fine with the fittings.

We were using the hose that came with the trailer until we hit 20ºF weather in Reno. Then, the cold weather snapped one of the attachment fittings. Since then, we've been using the Rhino that we bought at ETI and find that it's MUCH sturdier. Go Rhino!!

All my RV's have Blueline fittings on them. I can not turn the other type but Blueline push on works for me.

Fox Hunt,
The rhino won't fit in the holder on the Lark. But the Blueline stuff works great. There is also a heavier duty version of the blueline sewer stuff

I had to trim down the tabs one uses to tighten the end onto the trailers pipe, once I did that the Rhino fit no problem.

I agree, it's odd. Had to trim maybe a 1/8" off each of the 4 tabs. You got your trailer a bit before me, must have changed something.

Thanks for the info on the Rhino Flex
We aren't anywhere near our build sheet deadline, but I am already scouring this forum for information and find it has a ton of useful information. Having read of so many repeat Escape buyers has given us confidence that we chose a good trailer.
I had read elsewhere that someone added on a hollow (? plastic) fencepost to accommodate their larger sewer hose and was about to post a request about the Rhino when I finally found this thread. Thank you for all the input posted here! After dealing with thin sewer hoses (with our NASH trailer) that leaked from simply dragging them on the concrete, we discovered the very sturdy Rhino Flex hose and I didn't want to give this up because of a too small hose storage. Kudos for ETI for making the changes necessary to accommodate the larger hose with coupling. I'm sure that the elbow (for when hooked up to services) will be stored in the storage box (sealed bag?)
Finally, I wish I had a fraction of the knowledge on electrical, renos, antennas, etc. that some of the regulars possess. I'm reading with relish.

Camping World was out of the BlueLine hose kits on the day we were there. We ended up getting the Viper sewer hose kit. It looked to me like the viper was made from heavier material, so I chose that over the Rhino. We are just able to fit a 15' hose into the storage tube. We also got a 2' extension, which we needed once on our trip back.
We store the extension and the right angle fitting in a plastic container that goes into the storage area under the bed. Lindy assures me that as long as we rinse well, and keep the plastic container tightly sealed, it shouldn't smell.
So far, I am pleased with the hose. But mostly what I want from a sewer hose is for it to be trouble-free. We paid a premium for what we hope will be a heavy duty item. On the other hand, the BlueLine hose worked just fine for us and was less expensive.

While at the rally this spring I noticed all the new trailers had a larger diameter black sewer hose holder. Manufactured by D&W Inc. I asked ETI to install one on our trailer while they are storing it for the winter. It is a low cost update and hopefully will house the fittings without any modification.
