A model hot water

I need some clarification. On the A models (no bath), the standard features include a 20 gal. water tank and on-demand pump, but no hot water. Is that correct?

For those of you with A models with hot water, did you have to add to your build sheet the following:
-hot water tank & exterior shower
-2 way hot water tank

What say you? (please, I need the facts, not the opinions; and yes, I will be contacting ETI.)

Thanks very much for your responses.

I can only answer your first question and that is yes, the standard was with a 20-gallon tank, an on-demand pump, and no hot water. I could have but chose NOT to add a hot water tank or exterior shower. I don't know if that was a combo option or if one could have ordered one or the other separately.

Yes to your first question. We had the exterior shower (which is extremely handy) and two way hot water tank ordered on our 15A and it is a very nice luxury plus cuts down on condesation from heating a kettle when hot water is required.

The "2 - Way Hot Water Tank" for $200 in the options list (e.g. The 17 Foot Escape - Options) should be for just the addition of an electric heating element to the water heater; it doesn't get you the water heater itself. To get the heater (which runs on propane only) would be the "Hot Water Tank with Exterior Shower (Plan A)" option for $600.

So, I believe to get a two-way water heater in an "A" plan would require both options, for a total of $800.

That is exactly correct, Brian. Thanks.
I just got the confirming answer from ETI, as well.
