Advice needed: Plug in with no batteries

I have disconnected my batteries (at the battery) prior to replacement of the stock battery disconnect switch.

It's cold and gloomy outside. I'd like to use my ceramic heater and some 110V lights inside my rig.

Can I plug in my Escape and run 110V without messing up the converter? Any issue there?

Shouldn't be a problem. The converter will still supply 12V to the 12V distribution buss as well as 120V. I sometimes run my converter with the battery disconnect off.

Yeah, you're right, I've been plugged in with my battery disconnect switch in off position. Duh! I was not thinking clearly, and it is early morning.
