black sllde valve issue
so I just drained my tanks, was kind of a cold day (upper 40s?) and when I pulled the black tank slide valve open, some black waste sprayed out from where the valve joins the main black line from the tank
uh oh! thankfully I was wearing my heavy duty nasty gloves, but still I need to fix that for the future.
it appeared to leak from right where the valve joined the pipe feeding into it. due to the cold, or perhaps the lack of recent lubrication, the black valve was particularlly hard to pull out, so I might have applied a bit of sideways force to it accidentally. once I had the valve open, it stopped leaking
still thinking I should fix this. I'm assuming there's some sort of seal between the valve piece and the pipe feeding into it? it all looks screwed together...
