Coleman Mach

Can you run the Coleman Mach air conditioner with soft start on solar or do you have to be on shore power? Any way to run it off of a Honda 2200i generator?

Anything’s possible if you have enough solar. If you’re thinking about the standard one or two panels then, no. You can run the Coleman Mach with soft start with an eu2200i for sure. Probably not much else at the same time is all.

And add a couple (lots!) hundred amp/hrs of batteries to the equation as well...........and a beasty 12v to 120v inverter.

Can you tell me how you would connect the generator to the trailer to run the mach?I have the three-pronged plug and cord for shore power plug in. How would it work? All I see on the generator is two 120 volt plugs.

I use this adapter to go from 15 Amp in my garage to the Escape 30 Amp cord.

You will also need to use a neutral bonded plug in your generator…or bypass your EMS. The plug can be bought online or you can make one yourself.
