For me, Tractor Supply is considerably cheaper than the local Blossman Gas and I have to be there near closing when the delivery drivers come back in, as there is no one there during the day except the secretary. It became an aggravation and then I realized how expensive they were. I have 30 lb tanks, filled one the other day at Tractor Supply, They came right out and by the time they were done with me, two other people showed up.

Do note, those have to be 4 gallon square milk crates, and not the 6 gallon rectangular ones.

Interesting thread for me to read, since my experience is different I hadn't thought about what the rest of you need to do.

The local propane supplier comes to my property two or three times a year to fill the house's 200 gallon tank, and he tops of the camper and BBQ while here.

It's a big check to write, but easy peasy!
