It appears that many are having trouble connecting and/or reconnecting with the Bluetooth Go Power Controller...and I'm one of them.
So I went to the Go Power website and followed most of the instructions provided to resolve the issue.

Originally paired with iPhone 6s last year, with no issue or disconnects.
Replaced the iPhone 6s with iPhone 11Pro and could no longer connect.
Couldn't pair, couldn't connect, continually failed to even find the unit.
Followed the manual instructions provided at time of purchase. Failed.
Followed the instructions from Go Power website. Failed.
Frustrating couple of hours, back and forth between house and trailer.
Since it's Friday after hours, I'll follow
these instructions provided on their website...since I didn't want to bother calling a support person...I can do this...I've even paired my phone with my wife's Benz in under 10 minutes without instructions...so we'll see how successful this will be.
These steps should be performed with a Go Power! Technical support person on the phone or on chat so any questions can be answered.
I'm glad I'll have the time (retired) to do this without company dropping in (Covid) and interrupting my train of thought (easily done).
