Did/Does it go back in? There is an attachment you got with the trailer to hand crank the awning in. Other than that I got nothing, a picture of the problem might help in solving it. Contact Dometic and pray.

It retracted ok. Just when it extended all the way it drooped on left side. Maybe try not extending all the way out. Mind you this awning is brand new. This was our biggest option concern when we ordered trailer. Looks good but comes with issues.

Sounds like it just needs adjusted a bit, by the way for four years ours has worked flawlessly. Since your trailer is under warranty, escape should pay a service provider to adjust it if you don’t want to do it your self. Tip, change the batteries in the wind sensor very few years, mine lasted two. I think the remote uses cr2032 also, the wind sensor is on the awning itself.

Sagging awnings, rogue extension of one into a tree, props needed in the rain, failing LED light strips, lost remotes, unresponsive awnings, dreadful Dometic customer service....get a power awning at your own peril. I know some owners have had none of the issues above but give me the manual Carefree Fiesta!!

I’ve seen manual awnings destroyed by sudden winds and trailers over turned. my awning retracts automatically with a sudden gust of wind. So there’s advantages to every choice. Lost remote and usb power strip fails are saying nothing to the quality of the power awning.
I’d buy one agin.

extended awning today. The left side starts lower than the right and stays that way. Returns to the home position when retract complete. I asked Dometic to send me manual, did not receive one from Escape.

Perhaps of interest, there are several files of instructions for Dometic 9500E adjustments, including "pitch", as well as the Operating Instructions available for download in the forum's Files section:
